MR RATNAKAR | |
Taking a fancy to printing during his college days, Ratnakar Joshi joined the press full-time in 1958 after he completed his graduation. He is an expert colour separator who pioneered the use of powder-less etching techniques for halftone block making. His career as a printer is marked out by many milestones. He brought in several technologies that led to improved operational efficiency and process enhancements on the shop floor. During a visit to Japan in 1970, he was so fascinated by the powder-less etching concept that in 1972 he installed it in his press that resulted in dramatically less turnaround time. During the early 80s, he quickly sensed the winds of change and made the transition to colour; he took the lead in installing a Heidelberg SORM-Z 2-colour offset press. Many more automatic machines were installed to meet the ever increasing work load. Today Ratnakar Joshi works in a mentoring capacity, leveraging his rich experience and deep insight to guide younger colleagues. Though he is not an active member of the core team, his cherished values continue to inspire the next generation to set new benchmarks in the printing arena. | |

After completing his M.Com. & D.B.M., Anil went on to obtain a Diploma in Printing Technology, where he stood second in class. He then dedicated himself full-time to the business. A tech-savvy individual with a passion to break new ground, Anil brought several innovations to both the design room as well as the shop floor. He introduced imagesetter technology to Pune. He is also the first print industry entrepreneur in Pune to incorporate 10-micron staccato technology to the pre-press side of operations, which makes our printing facility truly state-of-the-art. Anil’s deep technical know how and hands-on experience have always given the cutting edge to our press; we are proud to have serviced big brands such as Tetra Pack, Parakh Foods and many others. Anil makes it a point to constantly update his knowledge and upgrade the setup at the appropriate time. He is a respected member of the Pune Master Printers’ Association and has been felicitated by the V.G Joshi General Trust, Pune for outstanding contribution to the printing industry. | |
